Delhi Hit-And-Run: 2 Seriously Injured After Speeding Car Rams Into Them, Tosses Into Air In Rohini; Shocking CCTV Video Surfaces

New Delhi: A disturbing hit-and-run incident was captured on CCTV in Delhi’s Rohini area on Friday evening, July 18, where two pedestrians were crossing a road when they were suddenly rammed from behind by a speeding sedan. The force of the impact flung both individuals several metres into the air.

CCTV Footage Shows Exact Moments Of Hit-And-Run

The chilling footage shows the Suzuki Swift Dzire car slowing down momentarily, seemingly assessing the situation, before accelerating and fleeing the scene, leaving the injured victims on the road. One of the victims was seen attempting to stand as horrified bystanders rushed in to help. Meanwhile, the driver managed to escape, vanishing before he could be held.

Both victims were seriously injured and were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital. As of now, their condition remains unknown. The Delhi Police has initiated an investigation based on the CCTV footage and has launched a search for the unidentified driver. Authorities have also appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could assist in tracing the vehicle and the accused.

Student Killed By Speeding Bus On Way To Exam In Indore

In a separate but equally tragic incident, a 20-year-old BCom student lost his life after being hit by a recklessly driven passenger bus in the Khudel area near Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The accident took place on Thursday morning, July 17, when the student, Gaurav Tanwar, was on his way to attend an exam at a private college in the city.

According to police reports, Gaurav, a resident of Somguradiya village under Khudel police station limits, was riding his motorcycle through Aath Mill village on Nemawar Road when a speeding bus hit him from behind. The impact left him critically injured. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police have identified the vehicle and registered a case against the bus driver under applicable sections of the law. A manhunt is underway to locate and arrest the accused driver, who fled the scene after the collision.
