Bihar Crime: Five Arrested in Chandan Mishra Murder, Police Link Case to Sheru Gang | ABP NEWS
In a major breakthrough in the Chandan Mishra murder case, five suspects have been arrested from West Bengal, according to reliable sources. The arrests come 48 hours after the fatal shooting inside Patna’s Paras Hospital, where six assailants were involved—five entered the hospital room armed, while one kept watch outside. Sources suggest that the attack may have been orchestrated from Purulia Jail by gangster Sheru, a former friend-turned-rival of Chandan Mishra. Interrogation of Sheru by Bihar STF reportedly provided key leads. Patna Police and Bihar STF had been stationed in Bengal and worked closely with local authorities to carry out the arrests. One of the suspected masterminds, Tausif Baadshah, is believed to have led the group and may have ties to contract killings and illegal land deals. Tausif had previously uploaded threatening videos online and is also an Arms Act accused. As of now, police have not officially confirmed the names of the arrested individuals, but interrogation is ongoing. More arrests are expected, as others may have helped supply weapons or provided shelter. A formal police statement is awaited, while the investigation continues to unravel the full extent of this organized attack.
