Breaking: STF Operation Leads to Arrest of Five in Chandan Mishra Murder Plot | ABP NEWS

In a major breakthrough, Patna Police and Bihar STF have arrested five suspected shooters in the Chandan Mishra murder case. The arrests were made in West Bengal, though the exact location has not been officially confirmed. According to sources, the shooters are believed to be members of the Sheru Singh gang, a notorious criminal group with roots in Bihar and West Bengal. Sheru, the alleged mastermind, is currently lodged in Purulia Jail, West Bengal. Bihar STF interrogated him earlier this week. Though he initially misled investigators, pressure from Bengal Police and threats of being taken on remand reportedly forced Sheru to provide key information. Based on this intel, the arrests were carried out. Chandan Mishra, who was out on parole, was admitted to Paras Hospital in Patna when five assailants stormed into his room and fatally shot him. The attackers reportedly belonged to the Tausif Baadshah gang, allegedly hired by Sheru due to an ongoing gang rivalry and possible land dispute. Further interrogation of the suspects is ongoing, and they are expected to be brought to Patna after court procedures. Police have not yet revealed the names of the arrested individuals. More details are likely to emerge soon.
