IndiGo aviation company will start flight service to eight cities from Sahibabad’s Hindon Airport which will start from Sunday. Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu will flag off the first flight. IndiGo will operate 10 flights daily which will boost business activities. Currently Air India Express is operating flights to 13 cities.
New Flight Service: Aviation company IndiGo will start flight services from Hindon Airport Civil Terminal tomorrow i.e. Sunday to eight cities Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna and Varanasi. Its preparations are being finalized.
The first flight will be flagged off by Union Minister (Civil Aviation) Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu. People are expected to get great relief from this. However, Air India Express is already providing flight services to the remaining six cities except Ahmedabad and Indore.
Representatives of the aviation company Indigo are also continuously inspecting and holding meetings at the Hindon Airport Civil Terminal. On Friday also, Managing Director Umesh Yadav and representatives of Indigo held a meeting with the Air Force officials and completed the necessary paperwork. Officials are busy taking stock of the preparations.
The first flight to Bengaluru will depart at 7:50 am on Sunday. Apart from the Union Minister, MP Atul Garg and other officials and members of the Civil Enclave Hindon Airport Advisory Committee will also be present here.
For this, the Director of the Aviation Authority of India has sent invitations to everyone. Director Umesh Yadav said that 10 flights of Indigo will fly from here daily. One flight each will fly to six cities and two flights each to Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
Talking about both the airlines, two flights will fly from here every hour. Only Indigo will have more than 70 departures from here in a week. About 70 to 80 percent of the seats of flights to all cities have been booked.
Now Hindon Airport will be connected to a total of 15 cities
Air India Express is currently providing flight services to 13 cities from Hindon Airport Civil Terminal. These include Jaipur, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Goa, Varanasi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Adampur, Kishangarh, Patna, Nanded and Bathinda. With the connection of Indore and Ahmedabad, Hindon Airport will be connected to a total of 13 cities.

With the start of more flight services from Hindon Airport, business mobility will be boosted along with economic development. Officials believe that Hindon in Ghaziabad district is a rapidly developing urban and industrial center within the National Capital Region.
It is very close to Noida and East Delhi. This area has a dynamic mix of a large number of industrial units, educational institutions and growing residential areas, which contribute significantly to the economic landscape of Uttar Pradesh.
