Gujarat Crime: CRPF Jawan Kills Woman ASI Lover Over Minor Dispute In Kachchh
Kachchh: A shocking incident surfaced from Gujarat's Kachchh district, where a 25-year-old female assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in the Gujarat Police was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, who serves in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The deceased has been identified as Arunaben Natubhai Jadav. The incident took place in the Anjar town of the district.
Jadav was strangled to death on Friday. The accused, Dilip Dangchia, is a CRPF jawan posted in Manipur. Panic gripped the area after the incident. According to a report by Gujarat Samachar, a fight erupted between the two over a minor dispute.
Jadav was originally from Derwada village in Surendranagar district and lived in Gangotri Society-2 in Anjar. During the heated argument, the accused lost his cool and, in a fit of anger, he allegedly murdered Jadav.
After Jadav's death, Dangchia went to a police station and confessed to his crime. Jadav and Dangchia were in a long-term relationship and were going to get married soon, reported the media house, citing police sources.
The police have launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
In a similar incident which took place in April this year in Mumbai's Vikhroli, 37-year-old married woman was brutally killed by a man who had allegedly lured her into a relationship. The Vikhroli police arrested the accused, Hanasa Shafiq Shah (25), within eight hours of the incident. During interrogation, the accused confessed to killing the woman because she was allegedly pressuring him to marry her.
