School Closed: Schools from class 1 to 8 will remain closed for 3 days, DM announced holiday
School Closed Due to Kanwar Yatra in Amroha, DM Nidhi Gupta Vats has declared a three-day holiday in schools. Digital libraries will be built in 103 gram panchayats of the district for which safe places are being selected. Instructions have been given to ensure the security of panchayat buildings and install CCTV cameras. The government will give five times the amount for development under the Panchayat Compensation Incentive Scheme.
School Closed: In view of the Kanwar Yatra of the month of Sawan, District Magistrate Nidhi Gupta Vats has declared a three-day holiday in schools.
The DM said that all council, recognized, non-government aided schools from class one to eight will have a special holiday on 19, 21 and 22 July. Apart from this, there will be a special holiday on 19 and 21 July in secondary schools and technical institutions.
Digital libraries will be built in 103 gram panchayats of the district
DM Nidhi Gupta Vats said that digital libraries are to be built in 103 gram panchayats of the district, for which such a place should be selected which is safe for children. She constituted a six-member committee to purchase books for the library and asked to establish the library as soon as possible.
While taking a meeting of the officials associated with the Panchayat Raj Department in the Collectorate Auditorium, he said that the security of the Panchayat buildings where the library is to be built should be ensured. CCTV cameras must be installed at every place. There should be no negligence in this work at all.
Funds received for setting up digital library
The DPRO said that an amount of Rs 4 lakh each has been received from the government for the establishment of each digital library. This amount is to be spent on books, furniture, digital content etc.

After this, the DM said that under the Panchayat Compensation Incentive Scheme, in view of the income of panchayats with less than 1500 population, the government will provide five times the amount for its development. He called upon the Pradhans to earn OSR by collecting income from various sources in the Panchayats. After which five times the amount will be received and better development will be possible.
Panchayat Utsav Bhawan will be constructed in every assembly. The secretary should talk to the Pradhan and select such a place where the general public gets maximum benefit. During this, CDO AK Mishra, PD DRDA Ambrish Kumar, DPRO Parul Sisodia along with all BDOs, ADOs and Panchayat Secretaries were present.
