Briefs: Flood control rooms set up

Muktsar: The Muktsar district administration has established three flood control rooms in the district, one each at Muktsar, Malout and Gidderbaha. Muktsar Deputy Commissioner Abhijeet Kaplish said these control rooms would remain functional round the clock. He advised the people to contact officials of the drainage wing of the Water Resources Department if any drain was overflowing. TNS

MoU for urology fellowship

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has signed an MoU with the Urological Society of India (USI) to launch an accredited urology fellowship programme. The MoU, signed by BFUHS Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajeev Sood and USI President Prof Rajeev TP, aims to enhance structured training in urological sciences.
