Bihar Politics: 'Upper Castes Can’t Be on Front Foot Anymore', Controversial Remark by Munna Yadav | ABP NEWS
RJD MLA Munna Yadav has once again sparked controversy with a caste-based remark about Bihar’s politics. Yadav declared that upper caste leaders such as Mishra, Singh, Sharma, and Jha no longer hold relevance in Bihar’s political landscape. He asserted that under Lalu Prasad Yadav's leadership, the political power has shifted permanently to the Bahujan (backward and marginalized) communities. "Now, people from upper castes will have to remain on the backfoot," he said, adding that only Bahujans will occupy Bihar’s political throne going forward. In response, BJP MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia criticized Yadav’s statement, accusing the RJD of attempting to revive the dark memories of caste massacres and social divisions. He claimed such rhetoric is part of a strategy to polarize voters ahead of the upcoming elections, repeating the divisive politics seen during the rule of Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi.
