Bengaluru Weather Forecast: Heavy Rain To Lash City On Sunday; IMD Issues Red Alert
Bengaluru: The residents of the city have been enjoying cool weather over the past few days. The city is set to experience heavy rainfall on July 20, 2025. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city, which is expected to remain the same throughout the day. The city woke up at 06: 03 AM. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 20 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 50 PM. The weather department said that rain and cloudy skies will keep the temperatures mild and pleasant in the city.

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Scattered to widespread moderate rainfall is likely in the coastal and Malnad districts of the state, with scattered heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places and the heaviest rainfall expected in the coastal districts today. Scattered to widespread rainfall in the interior districts."
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD the rainfall is likely to be accompanied by strong surface winds, thunderstorms, and lightning. Scattered heavy rainfall is predicted in isolated regions of the state. The rainfall is likely to be accompanied by gusty winds.

Humidity levels may hover around 93 per cent, making the air feel damp, especially after rainfall. The weather department has issued a red alert in coastal regions, whereas a yellow alert has been issued in North Interior Karnataka, and an orange alert has been issued in South Interior Karnataka. The IMD has advised residents to step out of their homes only when it's necessary and take precautions. The weather department also advised fishermen to avoid venturing into the sea.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively. Cloudy skies are predicted with light to moderate rainfall on Monday.
