Karnataka government forms a Special Investigation Team. The SIT will investigate the Dharmasthala burial allegations. It will also probe missing women and unnatural deaths. The investigation stems from a case filed at Dharmasthala Police Station. The Karnataka State Commission for Women requested the SIT. The SIT will also handle related cases across the state.
