Kharang and Khapri reservoirs overflow while Maniari Jhumka and Chhirpani remain over 90% full

As of July 19th, major irrigation reservoirs in Chhattisgarh are nearly 50% full, with some, like Kharang Dam and Khapri Reservoir, overflowing. While Jhumka and Maniari Reservoirs are nearing full capacity, others such as Tandula and Dudhawa Dams remain significantly lower. Water is being released from several reservoirs, and officials are closely monitoring water levels.
