Crime Breaking : Chandan Murder Case Shooter Tauseef And 3 Others Brought To Patna On Transit Remand

In a major breakthrough in the Chandan murder case linked to Paras Hospital in Patna, the Bihar Police, in collaboration with Kolkata STF, has successfully brought four key accused — including the main shooter Tauseef Badshah — to Patna on a 48-hour transit remand. The accused were arrested in a joint operation from a guest house in Anandpur, Kolkata, and were being transported through Gaya, Jehanabad, and Punpun with heavy security.The convoy of police vehicles carrying the accused was seen speeding towards Patna, with officials maintaining tight surveillance. One of the vehicles reportedly took a diversion towards Sherghati in Gaya district, possibly for evidence recovery or identification of other suspects. So far, nine people have been detained in the case, out of which four have been formally arrested.Tauseef Badshah is believed to have led the 17th July shootout. He reportedly fled to Kolkata after dropping his relatives in Gaya. His arrest could lead to key revelations regarding the mastermind behind the killing and the motive. Once in Patna, the accused are expected to undergo medical examination before being presented in court, where the police will likely seek further remand for detailed interrogation.
