Monsoon Havoc in Himachal: Boy Drowns in River, Landslide Blocks Road in Solan District

Tragedy struck in Himachal Pradesh as heavy monsoon rains continue to wreak havoc across the state. In a heartbreaking incident, a young boy named Ayush Yadav, who had gone for a picnic with friends, lost his life after falling into a river. According to eyewitnesses, Ayush attempted to retrieve an object from the water but lost his balance and fell in. Despite efforts to save him, he was swept away by the strong current. His body was recovered 24 hours later.Meanwhile, fresh visuals have emerged from Solan district showing a massive landslide near the Mamlig Road close to Ghat Mamlig Garu. The landslide, triggered by continuous rains, completely blocked the road, halting all vehicular movement in the area. Authorities have alerted the PWD (Public Works Department), and efforts are underway to clear the debris using JCB machines.These back-to-back incidents highlight the dangerous impact of the ongoing monsoon in Himachal Pradesh. Roads are getting blocked, river levels are rising, and the risk of accidents is increasing by the day. Residents are urged to stay cautious and avoid traveling to hilly areas during this period.
