When YRF Congratulated Maddock Films For Stree 2 Success

Last year, when Stree 2 became a blockbuster, crossing Rs. 600 crore at the box office, even YRF congratulated Maddock Films on the success of the Shraddha Kapoor starrer.

The production house had posted, "Heartiest congratulations to Dinesh Vijan, Maddock Films, Jio Studios and the entire cast and team of 'Stree 2' for the humongous box office success. You have set a new benchmark for everyone to strive for. The last two years have been simply phenomenal for Hindi films and the industry couldn't be happier!"

Saiyaara took a bumper opening at the box office with a collection of Rs. 21 crore, and on Saturday, it showed a jump and collected Rs. 25 crore. However, on Sunday, Mohit Suri's directorial showed a phenomenal growth at the box office, and minted approx. Rs. 37 crore, taking the total to Rs. 83 crore.

Saiyaara has received mostly positive reviews. The Free Press Journal reviewer gave 3.5 stars and wrote, "Saiyaara is undoubtedly one of the best romantic musicals that we have seen in the past few years. It is the romantic film that the audience was craving for."
