Stephane Deblaise appointed as CEO of Renault Group in India
NEW DELHI, July 21: French automaker Renault Group on Monday announced the appointment of Stephane Deblaise as Chief Executive Officer, Indian operations, effective September 1, 2025.
In the role, he will be responsible for defining and executing the group’s strategy in India, the automaker said in a statement.
All Renault Group entities in the country will report to him, it added.
Deblaise will report directly to Francois Provost, Renault Group Chief of Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer.
Since 2022, Deblaise has served as CEO of Renault Korea, where he led key transformation initiatives, including positioning the company as a global development and production hub for mid-and large-sized vehicles and modernising the Busan plant for multi-energy vehicle production, the automaker stated.
In addition to his current responsibilities as Managing Director of Renault India Pvt Ltd (RIPL), Venkatram Mamillapalle will support Deblaise on corporate affairs in India to help structure the Group’s mid-term growth strategy in the region, it added.
Deblaise’s appointment to Renault Group India reflects the Group’s strong confidence in his leadership and underlines the strategic importance of India as a key pillar in Renault’s global growth ambitions, the automaker said. (PTI)
