Mumbai Cricket Association Emerging Team Players & Officials Visit Lord's Stadium; Video

The entire Mumbai Cricket Association Emerging Team, along with president Ajinkya Naik and other officials, visited the Lord's stadium in England. Sharing the video from the visit, MCA captioned the post, " The squad got a taste of English conditions, playing competitive matches against county sides and experiencing the magic of Lord’s, the home of cricket."

The players were accompanied by MCA President Mr. Ajinkya Naik, Jt. Secretary Mr. Deepak Patil, Treasurer Mr. Arman Mallick, and Apex Council Member Mr. Milind Narvekar. Suryansh Shedge led a 17-member Mumbai Emerging team on a four-week exposure tour to the United Kingdom which started on June 28.

Musheer Khan wreaks havoc on UK tour

In the first match against Nottinghamshire's second XI on June 30th, Musheer Khan scored a fantastic century in the first innings. He reached the hundred-run mark before being bowled out after facing 127 balls.

During the second match on July 3, against the Challengers (Combined National Counties) team, Musheer had not only scored a century but also taken a total of 10 wickets. In the second innings of that match, he played a brilliant knock of 125 runs off 127 balls, hitting 11 fours and 1 six. With the ball, he had taken six wickets for 38 runs in the first innings and four wickets for 56 runs in the second innings of the same match, which ultimately ended in a draw.

In the third match of the tour against the Loughborough UCCE team, the 20-year-old continued his stellar form by scoring a blistering 146-ball 154, riding on 22 fours and two sixes. He batted at an impressive strike rate of 105.48 during this innings before getting retired hurt to help his team post a colossal total of 384/5 in 60 overs.
