Ahaan Panday Reacts After Karan Johar Priases Him In Saiyaara: ‘Truly Shell-Shocked’
Ahaan Panday, who recently made his big-screen debut with 'Saiyaara', is riding high on the film’s success and the praise pouring in from across the industry. Among those deeply impressed by his performance is none other than filmmaker Karan Johar, who took to social media to pen a glowing note for the newcomer.
Directed by Mohit Suri, 'Saiyaara' hit theatres on July 18 and has emerged as a box office winner. But for Ahaan, the icing on the cake came in the form of Johar’s emotional tribute on Instagram.

"What a debut @ahaanpandayy !!!! You broke my heart and yet energised me as a filmmaker… your eyes spoke volumes and I can't wait to see your journey ahead…. You are spectacular," Johar wrote in his Instagram story, showering appreciation on the 27-year-old actor.
Ahaan, visibly moved, reshared the message and penned a heartfelt response expressing just how much it meant to him.

"I grew up watching 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', I grew up to your school of cinema, and to hear this from you, I am truly shell-shocked. Thank you sir, from the bottom of my heart for this and for everything you've given us, thank you a thousand times over," he wrote.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara also stars Aneet Padda, who previously appeared in the series Big Girls Don’t Cry and the Kajol-starrer Salaam Venky. According to the makers, the film raked in ₹119 crore globally during its opening weekend, marking a stellar start for both its leads.
Ranveer Singh welcomes the newcomers
Joining the chorus of appreciation was Ranveer Singh, who made his own debut under the YRF banner with Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010. Applauding Ahaan and Aneet’s performances, Ranveer posted the film’s poster on his Instagram story and wrote:
