Surat: Decades Long Deafness Gone Magically After Dental Treatment Of 63-Year-Old Woman

Surat: A mysterious yet magical incident has happened in Surat with a 63-year-old woman identified as Zaibunnisa M, who was cured from her deafness suddenly after a dental treatment. Reportedly, she was not able to hear anything from last two decades, any kind of hearing aids didn't work for her. But, a dental surgery turned things around and magically she is now able to hear.

Zaibunnisa's teeth had broken. Her cochlear implant surgery was scheduled. Her radiologist daughter came to Surat from Dubai to help her mother during the tough period. Suddenly one day, just before the surgery, something strange happened. Zaibunnisa said, "I was sitting at home when suddenly I started hearing voices. I ran to tell my husband. I could hear everything he was saying but I couldn't believe it. We went to our neighbor's house and talked to him. Finally it was true."

What Did Doctor's Say?

This change came after a series of dental implant procedures, including full-mouth reconstruction, temporomandibular joint rehabilitation, and nerve decompression. Implant specialist Dr. Rishi Bhatt said that after the dental work, her hearing ability improved. This may have happened due to the reduction of pressure on the nerve connected to the ear.

Zaibunnisa, who previously needed help with every phone call, can now talk freely again and is excited to attend social events. Her daughter Tahzeeb who is a radiologist in Dubai, said, "earlier her calls were one-way. She would speak, and we would listen. Now she has started talking to them again."

Even her husband Abbas, who is also a doctor, was surprised. He said that at first I could not believe it. But we are thankful to God that dental implants helped him hear again.
