Fantastic Four Comes To Fortnite: Check Out Date For Marvel x Epic's Major Crossover

As Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theatres this week, Fortnite is lining up a massive in-game crossover with the superhero team. The event brings iconic characters like Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Human Torch into the Item Shop, each arriving with themed cosmetics including pickaxes, back blings, emotes, and a glider based on the Fantastic Four Space Craft.

When Will It Go Live In India?

The official launch is set for Friday, July 26, at 5:30 am IST. That’s when players in India can expect to see the new content roll out and begin unlocking everything from built-in emotes to alternate styles.

Here’s What You Can Unlock

Each member of the Fantastic Four comes equipped with a set of themed accessories. These cosmetics are aligned with the character’s style and in-game personality.

  • Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic): Fantastic Fists pickaxe, Fantastic Calculations emote
  • Susan Storm (Invisible Woman): Psionic Orbs pickaxe, Force Field Shatter emote, logo back bling
  • Johnny Storm (Human Torch): Torch’s Flame pickaxe, Flame On! emote, custom logo back bling
  • Ben Grimm (The Thing): Ready-to-Rumble alt style, It’s Clobberin’ Time! emote, matching back bling

The Space Craft glider also reflects the group's on-screen vehicle. All items will be available through the Fortnite Item Shop when the event goes live.

Early Access Through Fantastic Four Cup

While Epic Games hasn’t revealed pricing yet, players can earn early access to the outfits through the Fantastic Four Cup; a Battle Royale Squads tournament scheduled for July 23.

According to Fortnite’s official site, top-performing teams in each region will unlock the full bundle ahead of its shop release.

Exclusive Tournament Rewards

Players who don’t make it to the top teams can still earn commemorative rewards. Surviving 60 minutes in the Cup unlocks the It’s Clobberin’ Time Spray, while 120 minutes gets you the Flame On Emoticon. These are limited-time cosmetic items tied to the event.

Universal compatibility has also been included: pickaxes like Reed’s fists and Sue’s psionic blades can be used with other Fortnite outfits. Emotes such as “Flame On!” transform the character mid-game into alternate styles like Johnny’s fiery Human Torch mode.

This collaboration builds on Fortnite’s long-standing relationship with Marvel, continuing to deliver themed gear and skins that players can use in Battle Royale mode.
