MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Directs Ministers To Make Sure Farmers Get Fertilizer Without Trouble In Their Respective Districts; Approves ₹444 Crore Renovation
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A detailed discussion was done on the fertilizer issue in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
CM Mohan Yadav asked the Minister to look after fertilizer supply to farmers and to ensure that farmers should not face any kind of problem in getting fertilizer.
In yet another major decision, the cabinet decided to establish a reliable data centre. It would be one of the best data centres of the country.
During his Spain visit, CM had seen a world-level data centre and was highly impressed by it.
Moreover, the cabinet approved the proposal to renovate the Gandhi Sagar Hydel electricity plant at an estimated cost of Rs 444 crore. The renovation aims to upgrade the infrastructure and improve the plant’s efficiency and power generation capacity in the coming years.
The government will bear 30 percent of the renovation cost, while the remaining 70 percent will be raised through a loan from financial institutions. The Gandhi Sagar Hydel electricity plant, which has a generation capacity of 115 MW, is operated as a joint venture with the Rana Pratap electricity plant in Rajasthan, which has a higher capacity of 175 MW.
As part of the same agreement, the Rajasthan government will spend Rs 573 crore on the renovation and upgradation of its portion of the project.
