Vande Bharat New Stoppage: Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will now stop at this station as well, new stoppage from 27th July
Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express train will now also stop at Hapur railway station. The Railway Board has approved its new stoppage. This decision has been taken in view of the train’s average low passenger count.
Vande Bharat Express (22489/22490) running between Meerut and Lucknow will also stop at Hapur from July 27. The Railway Board has approved its new stoppage. This decision has been taken in view of the average low passenger count of the train so that more and more passengers can benefit from it.
According to railway sources, Vande Bharat Express is a major option other than Rajya Rani Express between Meerut and Lucknow. But its occupancy has been relatively low. In such a situation, the railways have tried to increase the number of passengers by making Hapur station a new stoppage of the train. After the approval of the Railway Board, Moradabad division has also become active regarding this. According to Senior DCM Aditya Gupta, Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will start stopping at Hapur from July 27. This will provide great convenience to the passengers traveling between Moradabad-Meerut rail section. Along with this, the railways is also planning to extend this train to Varanasi from August 27. Its purpose is to provide fast and convenient connectivity from Western UP to Eastern UP.
Lucknow Junction Jhansi Passenger will remain cancelled for five days from 29th
Lucknow Junction Jhansi Passenger trains will remain cancelled from 29th July to 2nd August due to non-interlocking work in Jaitpur station yard on Kanpur rail section of North Railway Lucknow division. 24 trains including Shatabdi will be stopped on the way and nine trains will not stop at Jaitpur station. Vande Bharat Express will run with changed timings.
Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari said that 51813 Jhansi Lucknow Junction Passenger and 51814 Lucknow Junction Jhansi Passenger will remain cancelled for five days. Whereas between 22nd July and 2nd August, a total of 24 trains including Darbhanga Delhi Special (04071), Sabarmati Express (19410), Barauni Gwalior Mail (11124), Gorakhpur Yeshwantpur (12591), Jogbani Anand Vihar (14093), Raptisagar (12511), Sabarmati Lucknow Express (19401), Shatabdi Express (12004), Okha Gorakhpur (15046), Gorakhpur Bandra Antyodaya Express (22922), Chhapra Anand Vihar (15305), Ernakulam (12521), Jansadharan Express (15269) will be run with a halt of 15 minutes to 2.5 hours on the way. In the same sequence, 22426 Anand Vihar Ayodhya Cantt Vande Bharat Express will leave Anand Vihar at 7 pm with a delay of 50 minutes. Whereas 14124 Kanpur Central Maa Belha Devi Pratapgarh Dham will leave from Kanpur on 28th with half an hour delay.
These trains will not stop at Jaitipur
Senior DCM said that 55345 Lucknow Kasganj Passenger, 64203 Lucknow Junction Kanpur Central MEMU, 64211 Lucknow Junction Kanpur MEMU, 64255 Uttaretia Kanpur MEMU will not stop at Jaitipur from 23 July to 2 August. 51814 Lucknow Junction Jhansi Passenger from 23 to 28 July, 55346 Kasganj Lucknow Passenger, 64204 Kanpur Lucknow Junction MEMU, 64212 Kanpur Lucknow Junction MEMU, 64214 Kanpur Lucknow Junction MEMU will not stop at Jaitipur station from 31 July to 2 August.
