123 blood units collected at Yamunanagar blood donation camp

Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organised a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan in Sector 18 here.

Chief guest Amar Singh Nandgarh, a member of Haryana Staff Selection Commission, and Sant Nirankari Mission coordinator Balraj Mittal inaugurated the blood donation camp.

On this occasion, zonal incharge Surinder Pal Singh, Mahatma Rakesh Chandna and Mahatma Gurnam Singh were present as special guests. As many as 123 units of blood were collected in the camp and blood donors were given “thank you” cards and certificates.

Amar Singh said that today, people were shedding each other’s blood on the roads by indulging in violence, while on the other hand, Sant Nirankari Mission was saving people’s lives by doing pious works like blood donation. He said that there was a need to live for the country and work for the country.

“We can serve the country by doing small works. This is what Nirankari Mission has done by organising a blood donation camp. By donating blood, our future generations also get inspired to donate blood,” said Amar Singh.

Zonal incharge Surinder Pal Singh said that Sant Nirankari Mission was engaged in the service of humanity. “Even during the Covid period, whenever we needed blood, we asked the Nirankari Mission, they sent volunteers to the blood bank and selflessly donated blood in the service of humanity,” said Singh.
