Aneesha wins silver in National Level Competition

JAMMU, July 22: Aneesha Sharma, a talented young shooter from Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ), delivered a stellar performance at the Sports for All – National Reward Program 2025, held at the Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi. Competing with some of the finest shooting talents from across the country, Aneesha scored an outstanding 631 in the qualification round, securing her place among the Top 8 finalists.
In the high-pressure final, she demonstrated remarkable focus, composure and precision to claim the Silver Medal, earning the 2nd position overall. Her performance also earned her a cash prize of Rs 30,000, a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, skill, and hard work.
The award ceremony was graced by K. Sultan, General Secretary of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), who personally congratulated Aneesha and the other winners.
This achievement marks a proud moment for MOSAJ and her dedicated coaches Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh. The Jammu & Kashmir Rifle Association also extended warm congratulations, with President Surinder Singh Sodhi, Chairman Kuldeep Jamwal and General Secretary DySP Sharat Chandar Singh praising her as a rising star in shooting sports.
