Delhi Woman Records Her Own Accident On Rapido Bike Ride After Feeling Unsafe, Company Responds, "We Are Not Taking Any Action"

A recent viral video of a Delhi woman recording her own accident while on a Rapido bike ride is buzzing on the Internet. The woman named Priyanka as per her Instagram handle started recording herself after allegedly feeling super unsafe due to the rash driving of the Rapido driver. Later, she also captured the tragic moment of tumbling onto the road along with the bike. She took to Instagram to condemn the irresponsible behaiviour of the driver and raised safety concerns. Rapido has responded on the post itself along with thousands of reactions from the netizens.

It all started when the Instagram user, Priyanka started having doubts about her bike ride when the driver denied having helmet and started breaking traffic rules on the busy roads. As explained by her in the Instagram post, the driver also drove on the wrong sides of the road. Thus, she started recording herself as a proof if anything happens. They met with an accident when they hit the other 2-wheeler coming from the other side, right in front of the Delhi police car. Surprisingly, everything was recorded in the video.

On her Instagram post, Priyanka wrote, "This might be the first time where I felt super unsafe with the way the Rapido driver was driving." Further she added, "First, I asked for helmet to which he relied no need to wear it (he was himself not wearing it). Then, his super chill nature despite of breaking so many traffic rules altogether was bothering me."

"He was taking wrong side on each main road. I took out my phone to record all this. Then suddenly our vehicle hit to the other 2 wheeler coming from the other side."

Police Didn't Take Any Action

The accident occured right in front of the Delhi police car. Since, rapido driver was injured, police didn’t take any action, as shared by Priyanka. Later, she paid him his fees and went to her destination by walk.

When the video went viral on social media grabbing around 67K+ likes Rapido had to take a note of the incident. The company responded in the comments section by their official handle.
