No Delay For Arjun Ustara! Shahid Kapoor Gears Up For Big Clash With Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar & Prabhas' The RajaSaab
Actor Shahid Kapoor, last seen in Deva, is set for a major box office clash on December 5, as his upcoming film with Vishal Bhardwaj, tentatively titled Arjun Ustara, will compete with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar and Prabhas’ The RajaSaab. While earlier reports suggested a delay, it is now confirmed that Arjun Ustara will release as scheduled.
No Delay For Arjun Ustara
According to Bollywood Hungama, the makers of Shahid’s film were the first to lock the December 5 release date. With the shoot progressing steadily and the film shaping up well, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is confident in the project and sees no reason to give up the slot he initially reserved.
Arjun Ustara Promises Strong Commercial Elements
Further, an industry insider shared, "The fact that Sajid Nadiadwala has decided not to move from the December 5 date shows his extreme confidence in his product."
Alongside Shahid, the film also stars Triptii Dimri, Disha Patani, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda. According to the source, the film promises not only Bhardwaj’s trademark storytelling but also strong commercial elements, making it a compelling theatrical experience. Moreover, being a Vishal Bhardwaj film, it is expected to feature soulful music, further adding to its appeal as one to watch out for.
New Title For Shahid Kapoor's Film
While the makers are yet to officially announce, a report in Pinkvilla claimed that Shahid's action-packed is no more Arjun Ustara, but it has been titled as Romeo.
About Arjun Ustara
In an interview with IANS a few months back, Shahid had revealed that the film, at heart, is a love story, but it's full of action and gangsters. It is set in the 1990s. "It's being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who is somebody I have known for a very long time. And I'm happy to be working with him. It's directed by Vishal Sir. Vishal Bhardwaj, who I've done so many films with."
Shahid previously worked with Vishal in Haider, Kaminey and Rangoon.
