Meet man who earned Rs 2453292820000 in just 24 hours! Could replace Elon Musk as world’s richest; his name is…, net worth is Rs…

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is the richest person in the world boasting a net worth of $373 billion, however, Musk coveted title faces a serious challenge from Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle who earned a whopping $28.4 billion (about Rs 24, 53,29,28,20,000) in just 24 hours on Tuesday.

How Larry Ellison could replace Elon Musk as world’s richest man?

According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk’s net worth has fallen by  $59.4 billion this year, while Larry Ellison has jumped to the second spot on the list of world’s richest people with a net worth of $289 billion, including making a staggering $28.4 billion in a single day on Tuesday.

At this rate, Larry Ellison could dethrone Elon Musk as the world’s richest individual within a span of just three days, improbable it may seem. Currently, Musk has a lead of $84 billion over Ellison, but that could easily change within days if the Oracle founder continues his golden run.

Notably, the net worth of Larry Ellison has surged by a whopping $96.8 billion in this year so far.

Who is Larry Ellison?

Larry Ellison is the co-founder of US multinational tech giant Oracle Corporation. The 80-year-old owns 41 percent of the company’s shares, and his wealth has exponentially increased due to a recent surge in Oracle’s stock prices. In June, Ellison’s wealth surged by a whopping $41 billion in just two days, including $25 billion in a single day, as per Bloomberg.

Larry Ellison co-founded Oracle in 1977 as a database software company, and over the years, the firm has transformed into a global cloud computing powerhouse. Ellison, 80, currently serves at the Chairman and CTO at Oracle.

Interestingly, Larry Ellison is a close friend of Elon Musk, and a major investor in Tesla, having previously served on the company’s board December 2018 to August 2022.

“I don’t know how many people know this… but I am a close friend of Elon Musk and a big investor in Tesla,” Ellison revealed in a 2018 interview. The Oracle boss has also come to Musk’s defense during several controversies involving the world’s richest man.
