Recently, an unseen picture from their wedding has surfaced online, showcasing a beautiful memory from their ceremony. The Instagram picture capture them performing a traditional ritual during the wedding.

The pictures shared by the official Instagram of Swadesh, show Nita Ambani as a young and beautiful bride draped in a red and white saree. Her wedding attire was complemented with gold accessories, and striking bridal makeup.

The throwback wedding photos of Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani were shared ahead of the launch of flagship Swadesh Store in Mumbai. Swadesh is an initiative led by Nita Ambani’s Reliance Foundation to preserve traditional handicrafts of India.

Along with some pictures and video, the caption accompanied, “Ahead of the opening of the Swadesh flagship store at Eros, Mumbai, Mrs. Nita Ambani honoured tradition with an auspicious pooja, draped in a stunning Madurai cotton Gharchola saree, handwoven over 10 months by artisan Shri Rajshrundar Rajkot. The saree was styled by @manishmalhotra05 with a phirozi silk kanchali blouse that has antique gold old-world embroidery.”

Nita Ambani’s recent pictures show her dressed in an heirloom bajubandh, that she also wore during her wedding, passed down from her maternal great-grandmother. The caption revealed, “In a beautiful tribute to the women who came before her and shaped her journey, Mrs Ambani wore an heirloom gold bajubandh, an armlet passed down from her maternal great-grandmother, which she had also worn at her wedding!.”

“It is not just an ornament but a cherished symbol of legacy, love, and the enduring strength that flows from one generation of women to the next – carrying with it the grace, wisdom, and blessings of our elders. The same armlet will now pass on to Mrs Ambani’s daughter Isha and then her precious grand-daughter Aadiyashakti!.” Further read the caption.

Besides Nita Ambani, the pooja was attended by her daughter Isha Ambani, who will inherit the treasured heirloom, and her two daughter-in-laws, Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant. The pooja took place in Mumbai Churchgate’s most iconic cinema building, Eros.
