Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani visited the famous BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in London along with his youngest son Anant Ambani and daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant. Their visit came just a day after Anant and Radhika celebrated their first wedding anniversary on July 12. This temple visit shows how deeply the Ambani family respects their traditions and faith, even with their busy public lives.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in London is not just a beautiful building—it is also an important place of worship for the Hindu community in the UK.

During their visit, Mukesh, Anant, and Radhika prayed at the temple and took blessings.

“It was an honour to welcome Shri Mukesh, Shri Anant, and Shrimati Radhika Ambani to Neasden Temple. They came for darshan and blessings on the occasion of Anant and Radhika’s first wedding anniversary — a special moment of faith, family, and gratitude,” the temple wrote on Instagram.

Anant and Radhika got married on July 12, 2024, at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. Their wedding followed all traditional Indian customs and rituals. The couple made it a point to respect every tradition, showing their love for Indian culture and their wish to start married life with blessings from elders and spiritual leaders.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in London is not just a holy place for the Hindu community in the UK, but also a stunning piece of architecture that draws people from all walks of life. It stands out for its peaceful beauty and detailed design, right in the middle of London’s famous cityscape.

The temple was built using 5,000 tonnes of Italian Carrara marble, Indian Ambaji marble, and top-quality Bulgarian limestone. All the stonework was hand-carved in India and then brought to London, where it was carefully put together. The temple was officially opened in 1995 by Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
