Maharashtra has completed construction of its first-ever glass bridge, located in Sindhudurg district. Built over the Nepne waterfall near Vaibhavadi, the stunning structure offers breathtaking views of the cascading falls below.Developed under the Sindhu Ratna Yojana, the bridge has been constructed at a cost of approximately ₹1 crore. It is situated just 3 kilometers from Vaibhavadi railway station, which is a stop for some Mumbai-Goa route trains, making it easily accessible for tourists.The glass bridge is expected to significantly boost eco-tourism in the Konkan region. Currently in its final safety checks and finishing phase, the bridge will be open to the public starting next month.
