Great Indian Bustards (GIB) revival hits roadblock again as Rajasthan refuses to share eggs, male bird with Gujarat

Gujarat's Great Indian Bustard conservation faces setback. Rajasthan declined to share fertile eggs. This is the third refusal since 2015. Only three female bustards remain in Kutch. Their eggs are infertile without a male. A proposal to replace dummy eggs with fertile ones failed. The last male sighting was in 2018. Gujarat hoped to revive the endangered species.
