While much of the spotlight often shines on Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, and their children Isha, Akash, and Anant along with their well-known partners Anand Piramal, Shloka Mehta, and Radhika Merchant there’s another member of the extended Ambani family who has mostly stayed out of the limelight i.e. Khrisha Shah.

Khrisha is married to Jai Anmol Ambani, the elder son of Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani. Unlike her high-profile cousins-in-law, Khrisha has maintained a relatively low public profile, despite being part of one of India’s most prominent business families.

Her journey into the Ambani family was very traditional as Khrisha and Anmol were introduced to each other by their families. Although she may not be seen often in public or media coverage, Khrisha Shah is very much a part of the next generation of the Ambani legacy.

Who is Khrisha Shah?

Khrisha Shah may not be as widely known as some of her high-profile in-laws, but she has her own unique story and achievements that she adds to the Ambani family. Khrisha is married to Jai Anmol Ambani, the elder son of Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani. She is the younger daughter-in-law in the Anil Ambani household.

Khrisha was born and raised in Mumbai to Nikunj and Neelam Shah. She is the youngest of three siblings, with an elder sister Nriti Shah, a fashion blogger, and a brother Mishal Shah, who now heads the family business. Her late father, Nikunj Shah, was the director of Nikunj Enterprises, while her mother Neelam is a fashion designer.

After the untimely passing of her father in 2021, Mishal stepped into the family’s business responsibilities.

Khrisha earned a degree in Political Economics from the University of California, followed by a post-graduate degree in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics. Following this, she worked at Accenture, UK for sometime; she then returned to India. Here she launched her own company Dysco, which looks into social networking and also works in the field of mental health.

Khrisha is also a social worker and mental health advocate. She started the #LOVEnotfear campaign, aimed at creating more open conversations around mental well-being and encouraging a positive mindset.

Khrisha Shah got engaged to Jai Anmol Ambani in December 2021, and the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai in February 2022. Since then, while she has remained relatively low-profile, her work and presence have steadily grown in influence.
