PNB organizes MSME camp in Bari Brahmana

SAMBA, July 25: Punjab National Bank (PNB) organized an MSME awareness camp in the Bari Brahmana area of Samba district.
The camp was inaugurated by chief guest Lalit Mahajan, president of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) in presence of S C Dutta, president of Birpur Industrial Association and Anjani Kumar, General Manager, PNB, head office.
Addressing the attendees, Circle Head Anil Kumar Sharma highlighted the various MSME schemes initiated by PNB and informed customers about the benefits and procedures for availing them.
Customers were informed about opening digital accounts instantly and availing loans up to Rs 25 lakhs through PNB’s digital channels like PNB GST Express, PNB e-Mudra and others.
Bank officers also held personal interactions with customers and resolved their queries. On this occasion, MSME loans worth Rs 5 cr were distributed among the customers.
Customers were also made aware of several Government-backed social security schemes promoted by the bank, including PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana. Enrollment facilities were made available on the spot.
Forms for opening savings accounts under the PM Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) were also distributed at the camp. Customers were informed about the nomination and re-KYC processes and educated on digital fraud awareness.
The vote of thanks was delivered by PNB’s Deputy Circle Head, Dharmesh Diwedi.
The event was also attended by several senior officials, including M K Kaul, Sumeet Singh Kanwal, Rohit Sharma and Megha Sharma.
