Bihar Horror: 26-Year-Old Woman Faints During Home Guard Physical Test In Gaya, Allegedly Gangraped In Moving Ambulance; 2 Arrested

Gaya: A shocking incident surfaced from Bihar, where a 26-year-old woman participating in a Home Guard recruitment drive in Gaya was allegedly gangraped in a moving ambulance. According to reports, the girl was being taken to a hospital after collapsing during a physical test when the heinous crime took place on July 24.

The woman reportedly collapsed during a Home Guard recruitment exercise at the Bihar Military Police grounds in Bodh Gaya. The police arrested two people identified by the complainant in connection with the case.

These two people had appeared at a recruitment drive for home guards. "When the woman fainted, on July 24, she was rushed to the Anugrah Narain Medical College and Hospital at Gayaji in an ambulance. After she gained consciousness, she alleged that she was raped inside the vehicle," said SP (Town) Ramanand Kumar Kaushal, as quoted by PTI.

"We thereafter detained the driver and a technician who were in the ambulance. The woman also identified them. Their reply was not satisfactory, so they were arrested and booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Samhita," he added.

The medical examination of the rape survivor was conducted. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
