Weather Update: Many weather systems active simultaneously, alert of heavy rain with thunderstorms in 53 districts today

The rain will continue in the state till 30-31 July. Especially on Sunday and Monday, a warning has been issued for heavy rain in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Bhopal, Rewa, Shahdol, Ujjain divisions.

Weather Update: Due to the effect of active monsoon and cyclone, the rainy season is going to continue in Madhya Pradesh till 30-31 July. Today, on Sunday, red, orange and yellow alerts have been issued for heavy to very heavy rains in 53 districts. Due to continuous rain, rivers and streams have overflowed. So far, the gates of Johila Dam, Tighra, Barna Dam, Atal Sagar Dam, Ban Sujara Dam, Satpura Dam and Tawa Dam have been opened. Let us know what will be the weather in which district today…….

Heavy rain alert in these districts on Sunday

Red alert in Ujjain, Ratlam, Rajgarh, Shajapur and Sehore.

Orange alert in Indore, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Jhabua, Dhar, Alirajpur, Barwani, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda, Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Betul, Chhatarpur, Narmadapuram, Damoh, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat and Sheopur.

Yellow alert in Bhopal, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Panna, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Maihar, Umaria, Shahdol, Dindori and Anuppur.

Several weather systems including cyclone active, spell of rain till July 31

Currently, the monsoon trough is extending from the depression area formed over Anupgarh, Churu, Gwalior, Rewa, North Chhattisgarh to Purulia, Contai and the Bay of Bengal. The depression area is currently formed over north-eastern Madhya Pradesh, which is likely to weaken and turn into a deep low pressure area today on Sunday. A cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air around south-west Madhya Pradesh and its surroundings. Due to the effect of these effective weather systems formed at different places, moisture is coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, due to which there is a possibility of very heavy rain at some places in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Bhopal, Rewa, Shahdol, Ujjain division on Sunday.

More than 52% rain so far

Madhya Pradesh has received 52% more rain from June 1 to July 26. In this, eastern Madhya Pradesh received 68% and western Madhya Pradesh – 37% more rainfall than the average. In this monsoon season, an average of 23.7 inches of rain has fallen, which means 8 inches more rain has fallen. The rain quota has been completed in Niwari, Tikamgarh, Gwalior and Sheopur. In these districts, 28% more rain than normal has fallen. In Indore, Ujjain, Shajapur, Burhanpur and Agar-Malwa, less than 10 inches of rain has fallen.
