New Delhi: Veteran India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja completed his fifth Test century in style, hitting a six over long-on off England’s Harry Brook and celebrating in a unique manner. The left-handed all-rounder achieved the feat on Day 5 (Sunday, July 27) of the fourth Test versus England at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.

On the third ball of the 141st over of India’s second innings, Brook delivered one up outside off. Jadeja danced down the track and struck it over long-on for a six to bring his hundred, which was scored on 182 balls.

Jadeja and Washington Sundar constructed a scintillating, unbeaten 203-run fifth-wicket stand off 334 balls to see India tie the match after a 311-run first-innings lead. Jadeja remained on 107 off 185 balls, studded with 13 fours and a six, while Sundar stayed on 101* off 206 balls, scoring nine boundaries and a six.

The visitors completed their second innings at 425/4 in 143 overs, with a 114-run lead as the fourth Test was drawn.
