August 9 — Banks in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Kanpur, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) will remain closed on account of Raksha Bandhan and Jhulan Purnima. August 13 — Banks in Imphal (Manipur) will remain closed on account of Patriotism Day

August 16 – Banks in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Aizawl (Mizoram), Bhopal and Ranchi (Madhya Pradesh), Chandigarh (UT), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Gangtok (Sikkim), Hyderabad (Telangana), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Kanpur and Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Patna (Bihar), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Shillong (Meghalaya), Jammu and Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), and Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) will be closed on the occasion of Janmashtami (Shravan Vadh-8) and Krishna Jayanti.

23 August – Banks will remain closed across India on fourth Saturday holiday.

24 August – Sunday holiday.

25 August – Banks will remain closed in Guwahati (Assam) on account of Tirubhav Tithi of Srimanta Sankardeva.

27 August – Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Belapur, Mumbai and Nagpur (Maharashtra), Bengaluru (Karnataka), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Hyderabad (Telangana), Panaji (Goa), and Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) on account of Ganesh Chaturthi and Samvatsari (Chaturthi Paksha) and Varasiddha Vinayaka Vrat and Ganesh Puja and Vinayaka Chaturthi.

August 28 – Banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and Panaji (Goa) on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi and Nuakhai.

August 31 – Banks will remain closed across India on Sunday holiday.
