Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik has congratulated young Indian chess player Divya Deshmukh on being crowned champion in the FIDE Women’s Chess World Cup, the first Indian to win the cup.
Taking to his ‘X’ handle, Naveen said that it is proud moment for Indian sports as both, Divya Deshmukh and Koneru Humpy scripted history by making it an all-Indian final. Wish both of them all the very best for future.
