Navi Mumbai: BJP Leader Warns Of 'Green Protest' Over Dangerous Road Outside Nerul School

In response to the hazardous condition of the road outside Shiravane School in Nerul Sector 2,  Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is forewarned of a symbolic protest - planting tress in the potholes.

BJP leader Suhasini Naidu has issued  the  warning to the adminstration , of vowing to plant trees in the potholes as a protest if urgent repairs are not carried out within 24 hours.

The road, which remains riddled with potholes and loose gravel due to incomplete concretization work, has led to multiple accidents and rising injuries among commuters. Naidu, highlighting the civic body's inaction, said the move to plant saplings in the potholes aims to draw attention to the neglect and force immediate corrective measures.

Suhasini Naidu Gives 24-Hour Ultimatum to NMMC

"If the NMMC cannot fill the potholes, we will plant trees in them to show the growing public frustration. This is not just a protest, it’s a message that citizens will no longer tolerate negligence," Naidu said.
