Delhi University releases UG admission round 2 allocations: Over 87,000 students secure seats
University of Delhi on Monday announced the second round of undergraduate admissions, revealing that a total of 87,335 allocations have been made, including upgrades, fresh allocations, and freeze options.
Delhi University UG 2025 cutoff list for second round has been released at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Candidates who have upgraded for the second round of CSAS UG 2025 can check their allotment results online. Candidates must accept and report at the allotted colleges within the given period.
According to official data, 24,843 applicants received new allocations in this round. Additionally, 27,314 candidates were upgraded to their higher preferred courses or colleges based on availability.
Meanwhile, 17,922 students chose to freeze their current allocations, confirming their admission and opting out of further rounds.
The university is expected to continue with subsequent rounds of allocation to accommodate remaining applicants and ensure optimal seat utilisation across colleges and courses.
Top five UG courses opted by the students in University of Delhi (DU) after first round were BCom (hons), BA (hons) political science, BSc (hons) zoology, BTech (hons) mathematics and humanities, and BCom.
Admission branch of DU has also set up a robust three-platform support system to address student queries. Students can reach out via phone (88826 43439), email (ug@admission.du.ac.in), or the university chatbot (available on the website), all of which are operational during the admission window.
