Today, July 29, 2025, the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) Round 2 provisional seat allocation results were released by the Directorate of Technical Education in Chennai. Aspirants who used the choice filling option can check their allocation status on the official website, tneaonline.org, using their login credentials.
According to the timetable, TNEA will issue the preliminary allotment for 'Accept & Join' aspirants and the preliminary allotment for 'Accept & Upward' candidates on July 31, 2025.
"Tentative allotment has been released for all applicable second round candidates, request you to login and confirm the allotment on or before 30-07-2025, 5 PM, if you fail to confirm your allotment it will be stand as cancelled," a note on the official website reads.
TNEA 2025 counselling is undertaken to allocate seats in undergraduate engineering programs throughout Tamil Nadu. The procedure provides merit-based admission to BTech and BE programs in government and private colleges, as there is no entrance exam.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Round 2 Seat Allotment Result’ link.
Step 3: After this, submit the login credentials (if required).
Step 4: Now, the TNEA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download the page and take a printout of the same for future reference.
