Cardless ATM Withdrawals: If you have forgotten to carry your debit card with you or you are afraid of card theft, you can still make secure transactions without an ATM card.
State Bank of India (SBI) has provided customers the facility to withdraw cash from ATM without debit card through YONO Cash.
Through YONO Cash, you can not only withdraw money from SBI ATMs. This facility started in 2019 and now it has been made better. This service is available at more than 16,500 SBI ATMs across the country.
How to withdraw money from ATM through YONO Cash?
1. Login to YONO SBI app or YONO Lite app with 6-digit MPIN or user ID/password.
2. Click on the ‘YONO Cash’ tab in ‘YONO Pay’ on the homepage.
3. Select the ATM option and choose the account from which you want to withdraw money.
4. Enter the amount you want to withdraw (Rs 500 to Rs 10,000) and create a 6-digit YONO Cash PIN.
5. On confirmation, you will receive a 6-digit transaction reference number on the registered mobile number and email, which is valid for 4 hours.
6. Go to the nearest SBI ATM, select ‘YONO Cash’ option, enter the transaction number, amount, and PIN. Cash will be dispensed from the ATM. You will receive an SMS and an app notification upon completion of the transaction.
You can also withdraw money through UPI QR Cash
Go to the Cash Withdrawal section in the YONO app, enter the amount, and generate a QR code. Scan the QR code at a UPI-enabled SBI ATM, enter the UPI ID and PIN, and withdraw cash.
Do not share the transaction number and PIN with anyone. If the transaction fails, the amount will be returned to the account in 7 days.
Limit of ₹20,000 in a day
A maximum of Rs 20,000 can be withdrawn in a day through this facility. A maximum of Rs 10,000 and a minimum of Rs 500 can be withdrawn in a transaction. After generating the transaction from the app, it is valid only for 4 hours.
