Husky dog attacks Gurugram woman on morning walk
A Husky dog attacked a woman while she was on a morning walk in a posh society on the Golf Course road in Gurugram.
This entire incident was captured in a CCTV camera. The footage of the incident went viral on social media.
The video shows the dog digging its teeth deep into the woman’s hand and refusing to let go as its owner and the nearby people struggle to free her.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place around 7 pm on Sunday. In the video, a woman was seen walking on the footpath. Another woman is seen walking a pet Husky, which went out of control and pounced on the woman. The dog tightly gripped the woman’s hand in its jaws. After a lot of efforts, the victim was freed from the clutches of the dog.
People condemned the incident after the CCTV footage went viral on social media. They raised question that how someone can walk such a big and foreign breed dog without using a muzzle? Some users demanded strict action against the dog owner.
A senior police officer said no complaint had been received in this regard so far. He said if the victim lodges a formal complaint, then action would be taken against the dog owner as per rules.
Recently, a Pitbull attacked a cab driver in Sector 29, after which an FIR was registered against the dog owner. According to Health Department data, several dog-bite cases are reported every year in Gurugram, leaving many seriously injured.
