Varanasi: A new three story cruise ship named Gangotri has arrived in Varanasi, promising a five-star hotel experience for tourists. This luxury vessel will allow visitors to travel from Kashi to Chunar and Prayagraj via waterways, with operations set to begin in August. Package details are yet to be finalized.3

52-Metre Ship With 24 Rooms, Spa & Gym

The 52-meter long and 12-meter wide cruise ship can navigate waters up to 1.45 meters deep. It features 24 rooms across three floors and can accommodate 200 people. Its beautifully designed dining area and AC rooms with large windows offer stunning views of the ghats and opportunities to spot Gangetic dolphins.

3–6 Day Travel Packages with Online Booking

Tourists can book trips ranging from 3 to 6 days, covering the route from Varanasi to Prayagraj, with online booking available.

Ravidas Ghat to Prayagraj Route via Ghazipur and Vindhyachal

According to cruise operator Jayant, the Gangotri offers luxurious amenities including a gym, spa, restaurant, and sun deck. Designed for scenic viewing, it will depart from Varanasi's Ravidas Ghat, journeying through Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Chunar Fort, Vindhyachal, and Prayagraj at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour.

Passengers will enjoy devotional music, yoga, Banarasi cuisine, heritage lectures, ghat tours, and other cultural programs. The cruise also includes a lift, meeting hall, and waiting room.
