Pakistan launches remote sensing satellite with China’s help, it will keep an eye on…, to help Pakistan get clear images of…, name is…

Pakistan, with help from China, has successfully launched a new satellite named PRSS-01. This satellite was sent into space from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center. On July 31, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry shared the news on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The ministry said that this satellite will help Pakistan get clear, high-resolution images 24 hours a day. It will also help keep an eye on important projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

In an official press release, the Foreign Ministry said: “This is a big achievement for Pakistan in the space field. The satellite will help us monitor many areas including city planning, infrastructure development, disaster management, farming, food security, environmental protection, and water resources.”

China-Pakistan friendship grows stronger

The partnership between Pakistan and China continues to grow. China has already invested in many areas of Pakistan’s economy, and this satellite launch further deepens their strategic friendship. Various media repots also suggest that during India’s Operation Sindoor, China provided notable support to Pakistan.

What is CPEC?

China and Pakistan are also working together on a massive infrastructure and trade project known as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). CPEC is part of China’s global Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which aims to boost regional trade, transport links, and economic cooperation. It’s a key part of both countries’ long-term partnership.
