IND vs ENG, 5th Test: Karun Nair Receives 'Massive Respect' From Fans For Avoiding Fourth Run After Chris Woakes' Injury On Day 1

Karun Nair received praise on social media for not taking the fourth run when England pacer Chris Woakes injured his shoulder. The incident happened when Nair, who was batting alongside Washington Sundar, drove Jamie Overton's delivery towards the boundary. Woakes tumbled over the rope and hurt himself while trying to save a boundary.

While the batters ran three runs, Nair noticed Woakes in pain and lying on the ground beyond the boundary. He stopped his partner from coming through for a fourth despite extra runs on offer.
