ICSI-WIRC Celebrates Student Month July-2025

As part of the celebrations for “Student Month – July 2025”, Career Awareness Week – 28th to 31st July 2025, on 30th July 2025, the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducted “Career Guidance Session” at SSR College, Silvassa.

The event was conducted under the leadership of CS Hrishikesh Wagh, Chairman, ICSI-WIRC. Six sessions were conducted by CS Bhavesh Rawal, CS Neelabh Kaushik, and CS Khushboo Agarwal, and more than 450 students attended the same.

The students were inspired with valuable insights into the Company Secretary (CS) Profession, the Evolving Role of Governance Professionals, and the multiple career avenues available through the CS course. The enthusiastic participation and curiosity of the students made the session highly interactive and engaging and many students have shown their keen interest to join the CS course.

The dignitaries, Dr. Alpana Sharma, Vice Principal and CMA Vipin Mishra, Associate Professor SSR College of Arts, Commerce and Science and Prof. Dr. Rakesh Patil, Director, Dr. Rajesh Pandey, Dr. Diksha Swaroop, Amar Vangad, Associate Professor (MBA) and Dr. Natasha Nunes, Ankita, Associate Professor (BBA) SSR Institute of Management and Research highlighted the importance of professional education, ethical leadership, and the mission of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in building corporate India.
