Hearing on Majithia’s bail plea on Aug 4

A Mohali court on Friday fixed August 4 as the next date of hearing on the bail plea of SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia in a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The defence counsel said the arguments had been completed by their side, but the prosecution was delaying the case. Majithia’s counsel also made a plea that his client be physically produced during every hearing, while the prosecution sought his presence through videoconferencing for the hearing on his application for change of barrack on August 2.
