His impressive century helped South Africa Champions secure a thrilling 9-wicket victory over Pakistan Champions in the World Champions of Legends 2025 Final.

Former South Africa captain, smashed his hundred in just 47 balls, which included 12 boundaries and seven sixes. De Villiers who is known for his 360 degree hitting abilities stunned the fans with his effortless chase, making the 196-run target look easy.
Displaying immense passion and commitment to the game, de Villiers fought through mid-innings pain even needing medical attention and continued to play a magnificent knock.
De Villiers was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Series
De Villiers got good support from former Proteas teammate JP Duminy, who was not out on 50 off 28 balls, and they successfully chased down 185 with 19 balls remaining. This masterclass at Edgbaston, Birmingham was a treat for the crowd, and he won both the Player of the Match and Player of the Series. De Villiers finished the tournament with an astonishing total of 429 runs.

Sharjeel Khan scored 76 off 44 balls.
