Himachal Pradesh: Speeding Car Rams Stray Bull, Drags It Along Shimla-Mataur Highway In Bilaspur; Shocking CCTV Video Surfaces

On Himachal Pradesh's Shimla-Mataur National Highway in Bilaspur, a speeding car ran over a stray bull and dragged it for some distance, grievously injuring the animal. The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera. It occurred on August 2 at around 9:45 pm, according to the video footage.

In the now-viral video, the stray bull can be seen being dragged by the speeding vehicle, leaving it severely injured and stranded on the road. It is presumed that the bull came under the car, and the driver dragged it for some distance. The video clearly shows the bull injured and unable to stand or walk.

Bystanders Seen Avoiding the Animal; Two Men Approach to Help

Meanwhile, several passing cars and a tempo can be seen veering sideways to avoid the injured animal. A few moments later, two men are seen running toward the bull and assessing the situation.

According to media reports, the driver fled the scene after the incident.

Unclear If Bull Was Crossing or Sitting on the Road

It remains unclear whether the bull was crossing the road or sitting in the middle of it when the vehicle struck. It is also yet to be confirmed whether the car intentionally ran over the animal. However, the driver did make an escape after the collision.
