'Left Me In Shady Hotel, Threatened My Team': Sara Khan Accuses Delhi Event Organisers Of Harassment; Watch VIDEO

Actress Sara Khan shared a video to reveal she was mentally harassed by the organisers of Delhi 6 Fashion Runway Week. She said basic facilities were not provided to her and her safety was at risk.

On Monday (August 4), the Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai actress said she shared the video to warn her colleagues and fellow event industry professionals about her horrific experience with the organisers.

Sara said, "I've been working in this industry since almost 18 years and this is the most terrible experience of my life. I was supposed to attend the event on August 2 in Delhi, a city I've always loved and they have been so welcoming always. However, the organisers failed to provide the basic safety, hospitality and commitments they promised."

"They changed the hotel without notice, leaving me in an unknown and shady place with no support from their team. The only arrangement was a car with a driver, which I found very unacceptable. When I refused to proceed, one of the organisers threatened my team members saying. I had to book my own return flight and take measures to protect myself and my team," the actress added, without taking any names.

Sara also apologised to her fans who were expecting her at the fashion event. "Imagine the physical and mental harassment caused by the clients. And lastly, how mutual respect and comfort and safety should be the top priority for everyone. I apologise to the public who were expecting me at the event. I'm truly, truly sorry for that. My safety was at risk and I had to prioritise that. This experience was completely unacceptable and I'm speaking out to warn others in the industry," Sara concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara was last seen in the TV show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya. She made her acting debut in 2007 with Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai.

The actress has been a part of shows and films like Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Bigg Boss 4, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Rangoli, Saubhagyalakshmi, Laal Ishq, Santoshi Maa – Sunayein Vrat Kathayein, Lock Upp and many more.
